Electrician
Fort Simpson, NT
Servicing the Deh-Cho and Sahtu areas, based out of Fort
Simpson, you will perform journeyperson level work.
Responsibilities include the installation, repair and
maintenance of electrical generation and control equipment,
along with auxiliary equipment such as electric motors,
transformers, relays, breakers and other NTPC electrical
systems in diesel and/or hydro generating stations in
accordance with Canadian Electrical Code and NTPC
policies and standards. Travel to remote communities is
required.
Qualifications: Journeyperson level Industrial Electrician
certification, preferably with interprovincial seal, and several
years JM experience in a related setting. Ability to read
blueprints, interpret drawings and diagrams. PLC knowledge
and experience an asset. Class 5 Driver’s license is
required.
Salary Range: $37.98 to $46.17 per hour. We offer an
accommodation allowance of $4,200 and location allowance
of $5,934 per annum. We offer a comprehensive benefits
