Power Lineperson
Journeyperson level work in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution systems, including substations underground and streetlight systems.
Qualifications: Journeyperson Power Lineperson certification with an Interprovincial Red Seal; a Journeyperson Power Electrician certification is preferred. Several years of related experience in power distribution and transmission maintenance, line construction and customer service. A valid Class 1 driver's license with airbrake endorsement and a standard first aid certificate would be an asset. Travel to remote settlements in small aircraft is required.
Salary Range: $37.98 to 46.17 per hour. We offer an Accommodation Allowance of $4,200 and Location Allowance of $5,934 per annum.
