Financial Quality Analyst
Hay River, NT
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting; with your directly related experience with accounting and cost-accounting, coupled with financial planning & forecasting systems, you will design and implement analysis of NWT Power Corporation’s data, perform queries, prepare reports, and make recommendations to Senior Management, operational procedural standards & provide support on the implementation of operational projects. This position is responsible for making advanced application of technical accounting practices and concepts representing an expanding knowledge of accounting principles.
Qualifications: Completion of a recognized Accounting Designation with considerable related experience. Experience in Great Plains, IFRS or knowledge of FERC accounting would be an asset.
