Manager, NT Hydro Corporation - Yellowknife, NT
The NT Hydro Group of Companies is seeking dedicated, passionate employees interested in working in a team environment to pursue hydro-electric opportunities in the Northwest Territories. The following full time position, which will report to the Director, Business Development, is available:
Manager – Hydro Development
You will initiate and develop pre-feasibility analysis and coordinate baseline data gathering to investigate potential hydro opportunities in the NWT. This will require the application of economic analysis, and pre-feasibility analysis to assess opportunities that lead to the selection of viable hydro opportunities in the Northwest Territories. Project opportunities may vary but could include mini hydro, medium hydro and other alternative energy based project developments.
Qualifications: Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering with three to five years progressive experience in the planning, design, administration, and supervision of works projects. Experience in the hydro-electric field is preferred. Candidates must be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in the NWT. Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower level. Salary to be commensurate with experience. Position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
