POWERLINE MANAGER
INUVIK, NT
Reporting to the Director, Thermal Region and working closely with the Manager, Transmission and Distribution, you will provide operational and administrative support, as well as supervise employees in the construction and maintenance of transmission and distribution facilities. Other duties include preparing the annual operating budget submissions, inspecting work to ensure conformity to regulations, standards and specifications and planning, coordinating and monitoring the work activities for the line crew.
Qualifications: High School Diploma and Certification as a Journeyman Power Lineperson plus considerable related experience including supervision. Spreadsheet, word processing and email experience is required, preferably using Excel and Word. Experience with AutoCAD and/or GIS systems would be an asset. A class 5 driver’s license is required. Salary range is $41.79 to $50.79 per hour ($86,900 to $105,600 per annum).
