Mechanical Engineering Technologist
Hay River, NT
You will provide mechanical design and project management services, from the conceptual stage through to commissioning, for capital projects and maintenance support activities for hydro and diesel generating stations and alternative energy projects.
Qualifications: Technologist certification or diploma in Mechanical Technology with several years related experience in heating load calculations, piping system design and energy calculations, preferably in a power utility environment. Registered or eligible for registration as a CET or demonstrated equivalent skills and experience is required.
Must have good computer skills preferably utilizing AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Outlook, MS Project and other related software packages. Salary Range is $41.90 to $50.93/hour. Please quote Competition No.: 12-HR-10.
