Help for Business
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources provides up to $15,000 for businesses to implement approved alternative energy technologies (see Medium Renewable Energy Fund described in “Renewable? Doable!”).
The Arctic Energy Alliance also supports the use of alternative energy within small and medium enterprises in the NWT through:
- A series of formal workshops to address both energy technology and business management.
- Professional management expertise and assistance for business.
- Resources to implement technology-driven solutions.
