  1. Address and telephone number of the local billing centre. Payments and inquiries can be made here.
  2. Your mailing address.
  3. Service Location - the name, account number and street address of the serviced location (MTR - meter number, RATE - Rate classification codes).
  4. Due Date is the date your payment must reach the NWT Power Corporation.
  5. Billing Date is the date this invoice was created.
  6. Your account number.
  7. The total amount owing includes current and past due.
  8. Here's where you enter the amount you are enclosing with the tear off portion of the invoice.
  9. The days included in this invoice.
  10. The total number of days in the current billing period.
  11. The meter reading - previous amount and present or latest reading.
  12. Multiplier. This converts the meter reading to the applicable billing unit.
  13. Consumption - the difference between your previous and present meter readings, expressed in kilowatt hours.
  14. The cost of the electricity you used before taxes and subsidies.
  15. Basic Charge - monthly service fee, covers administrative and metering expenses.
  16. The status of prepayment, if any, and the amount of interest earned.
  17. The territorial support program contribution, if any. This GNWT subsidy brings your cost in line with Yellowknife power rates for the first 700kwh per month.
