Electrical Technologist

Hay River , NT

You will provide electrical design and project management services, from the conceptual stage through to commissioning, for capital projects and maintenance support activities involving the Corporation’s generating stations and transmission and distribution systems.

Qualifications: Electrical Technologist Certification or Diploma in Electrical Technology with several years of related experience, preferably in a power utility environment. Must be eligible for registration as a CET. Experience with PLCs as it relates to power plant operations is preferred. Must have good computer skills utilizing MS Office Suite, Outlook, MS Project and other related software packages. Please quote Competition No.: 28-HR-07.

Salary range for the position is $34.66 to $42.13 per hour plus accommodation and location allowances of $7,000 per annum.
