Mr. Kerr was appointed to his position as Director, Engineering in September, 2006. Mr. Kerr rejoined the Corporation after spending one year working in Calgary as an independent consultant. Prior to that, Mr. Kerr held the position of Manager, Operations Support from April 2001 to August 2005 and Manager, Fuels & Operations from September 1991 to March 2001
Prior to moving to Hay River in 1991 to join NTPC, Mr. Kerr was employed by the Inuvialuit Land Administration in Tutktoyaktuk , NT.
A native of Truro, Nova Scotia, Mr. Kerr graduated from Montana College of Mineral Science & Technology (Montana Tech) in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering (Honours). Mr. Kerr transferred to Montana Tech after graduating from the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology with a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology in 1986.
