Brian Willows joined
the Corporation in 1976 as a lineman. He is currently the Director,
Delta
Sahtu.
Brian has 26 years
experience in the electrical utility business, beginning as a lineman,
and has spent all but 5 of those years working in the Northwest Territories.
From 1976 until 1991 he worked in many facets of the electrical business
from power electrician, plant superintendent, to area maintenance superintendent.
In 1996 Mr. Willows was appointed the Manager of Safety and Environmental
Affairs (West); a position he held for five years before being appointed
to his current position. Mr. Willows has been a driving force behind
the Corporation's successful Zero Lost Time campaign.
Brian was born in
Victoria, British Columbia and attended university at Ottawa Carleton
and the University of Victoria.
Brian completed
certification as a power electrician (inter-provincial seal) in 1981
from NAIT.
