Cheryle Donahue
joined the Northwest Territories Power Corporation in 1991 as a Personnel
Administrator. She was promoted to the position of Manager, Human Resources
in January 2001. Effective April 1, 2003, Cheryle was appointed Director,
Human Resources.
From 1982 to 1991,
Cheryle worked for various departments within the Alberta Government
with a focus on human resources. The last position that she held prior
to joining the Corporation was as a Personnel Consultant with the Department
of Transportation and Utilities. She also worked for the Personnel Administration
Office in Staffing Services providing support and advice to a portfolio
of Departments.
Cheryle completed
her certification in Personnel Administration from the University of
Alberta in 1988. She also has certificates in Industrial Relations and
Human Resource Management from the Industrial Relations Centre, Queen’s
University.
