Mr. Locke was
appointed Director, Information Systems on March 2, 1997.
From 1989 to 1996,
Mr. Locke worked at the University of Technology in Lae, Papua New Guinea
where he taught Computer Science courses to university students throughout
the South Pacific.
Prior to Papua
New Guinea, Mr. Locke was the former Vice President of Star Data Systems
in Markham, Ontario - a provider of real time financial data to banks
and brokerage firms across Canada, and has managed the installation
of a North American wide data communications network and head office
data system.
Mr. Locke also
has seven years (1979-1986) experience working with a service bureau
in Toronto, Ontario, where he managed the activities of teams of programmers
and systems analysts. Mr. Locke worked for a number of years (1972-1979)
for the Ontario Provincial Government where he developed computerized
research and analysis software on behalf of the Treasurer of Ontario
in support of provincial grant administration programs.
Mr. Locke is married
with children.
