Ms. Goucher was
appointed Director, Finance and CFO for the Northwest Territories Power
Corporation (the Corporation) March 1, 2001 after holding the position
of Directory, Regulatory Affairs effective September 1, 1998. Ms. Goucher
joined the Corporation in January 1998 as a Financial Advisor to the
Vice President Finance & CFO. Prior to joining the Corporation, Ms.
Goucher was a Partner in a financial consulting company in the Northwest
Territories.
Ms. Goucher has
over ten years of senior level government experience in various positions
with the Government of the Northwest Territories. The last position
that she held with the territorial government was Director of Budgeting,
Financial Management Board Secretariat. Ms. Goucher spent four years
as Executive Assistant to the Honourable John. D. Pollard, Minister
of Finance and Chairman of the Financial Management Board Secretariat,
during which time she travelled extensively throughout the Northwest
Territories.
Ms. Goucher graduated
from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, in 1984, with a Master
of Arts Degree in Economics.
