The Arctic Energy Alliance (AEA) offers rebates on energy-efficient products, provides rebates for energy efficiency rebates to businesses, non-profits and community governments and has rebates available on renewable energy technologies.
Residents are eligible for rebates of up to $20,000 for renewable energy projects. The AEA no longer offer rebates for grid-tied renewable electricity projects (such as solar panels) in communities that use hydroelectricity, however.
Businesses, non-profits and community governments are eligible for rebates of up to $50,000 for building upgrades that improve energy efficiency.
