Hay River, Northwest Territories, September 27 2024 – The Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) has commissioned a survey of its customers to gather feedback on various issues, such as customer communications and service satisfaction. NTPC has engaged UtilityPULSE, a professional market research company specializing in the utility sector, along with its data collection partner, The Logit Group, to conduct a short survey to better understand what its customers want and need to improve the customer service experience. UtilityPULSE has conducted similar surveys on behalf of NTPC for more than a decade.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It is an important tool that helps NTPC gauge the effectiveness of its various services - what is being done well and where it should better focus attention to improve service delivery.
Beginning in early October, customers who have been randomly selected will receive a phone call or an email invitation from UtilityPULSE asking them to participate in the survey. NTPC wants to make it clear that they have authorized this survey and that this research is legitimate. UtilityPULSE is a reputable opinion research company that has conducted surveys on behalf of utilities across the country for over 25 years.
NTPC is a wholly owned subsidiary of NT Hydro, which in turn is 100 percent owned by the Government of the Northwest Territories.

“NTPC values the relationships it has built with customers in communities all across the NWT and recognizes that some customers may not be fully satisfied with the service they receive. Customer surveys help us to identify where we are doing well as well as areas where there is room for improvement in terms of meeting customer needs.”
