As of September 2025, NTPC has commissioned electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in three locations: Hay River, Fort Smith and Behchokǫ̀. A fourth station at Buffalo Junction is planned. All stations are available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
These stations are part of an EV corridor that runs from the Alberta border to Yellowknife. In addition to the NTPC owned facilities, there are also stations located in Enterprise, Fort Providence and Yellowknife.
All NTPC-owned charging stations include two Level 3 (100 kW) chargers and two Level 2 (19.2 kW) chargers. Level 3 fast chargers can charge most EVs in under an hour.
