Director, Energy South Operations
Dean has more than 20 years experience in the Public Service, working at both the Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) and the Government of the Northwest Territories. He joined NTPC’s Engineering Department in 2001 as a Project Technologist. In subsequent years, Dean took on expanded roles and responsibilities in the areas of Operations and Maintenance and Asset Management. He holds a designation as a Registered Engineering Technologist in the mechanical discipline. In 2016, Dean was in an initial cohort of people who entered a new program for to achieve designation as a Certified Asset Management Professional and was the first registered graduate in Canada.
Dean assumed the role of Director, Energy South Operations in 2022.
