The supplier will perform food services, housekeeping services and first aid services at Snare Hydro. There is to be a minimum 2-person crew onsite 365 days of the year; the hours of work will be approximately 12 hours per day therefore the successful bidder will require the cooks to pre plan and prep food for meals to allow sufficient breaks during the day.

Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) operates power systems across the vast territory serving seven communities by Hydro Power and operates 21 standalone isolated power generation facilities. NPTC has transmission and distribution systems supplying essential services to its customers. Automation is used extensively throughout NTPC generation facilities with integration of renewables.
The Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) owns and operates the backup diesel generating plants located in Fort Smith, Fort Resolution & Buffalo Junction, NT. All 3 (three) of these generating plants are normally “stand-by-plants” and typically operate during emergency situations or during annual maintenance for 2 weeks in the middle of August for the Taltson Hydro-electric Generating System maintenance. Fuel is to be delivered on an “as and when” required basis.
