NTPC is looking to procure two (2) utility service trucks with telescopic/articulating aerial devices.

The NTPC intends to construct a new LNG power generation plant located near Fort Simpson, NT.  An LNG offload, storage, and regasification plant is required to supply fuel to a lineup of bi-fuel (diesel and liquified natural gas) generators located in the proposed powerhouse.

The NTPC is seeking the supply of an LNG equipment package including offload system, storage, vaporization, pressure control, and integrated control system.

The supplier will perform food services, housekeeping services and first aid services at Snare Hydro. There is to be a minimum 2-person crew onsite 365 days of the year; the hours of work will be approximately 12 hours per day therefore the successful bidder will require the cooks to pre plan and prep food for meals to allow sufficient breaks during the day.

The Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) will be updating its server infrastructure to continue towards the NTPC’s cybersecurity and evergreening program goals. To that end, the NTPC is looking for the following:

Sachs Harbour, Northwest Territories, March 27, 2024 – Today, Michael McLeod, Member of Parliament for Northwest Territories, Caroline Wawzonek, Minister Responsible for the Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC), and Cory Strang, President and CEO of the Northwest Territories Power Corporation, are pleased to announce the opening of a new higher-efficiency diesel plant in Sachs Harbour.

Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) operates power systems across the vast territory serving seven communities by Hydro Power and operates 21 standalone isolated power generation facilities. NPTC has transmission and distribution systems supplying essential services to its customers.  Automation is used extensively throughout NTPC generation facilities with integration of renewables.

The Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) owns and operates the backup diesel generating plants located in Fort Smith, Fort Resolution & Buffalo Junction, NT.  All 3 (three) of these generating plants are normally “stand-by-plants” and typically operate during emergency situations or during annual maintenance for 2 weeks in the middle of August for the Taltson Hydro-electric Generating System maintenance. Fuel is to be delivered on an “as and when” required basis.

Hay River, Northwest Territories, February 16, 2024 – The Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) has applied to the Public Utilities Board (PUB) for a collection rider to address the high cost of diesel.
